Please review these materials with your child when they return home and make sure to check your child's "Notices" Folder regularly. We also post this information on our is281.com website. Have your child return ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS back to their ATS teacher the following day.

Please check your email regularly, as this is my form of weekly communication with Cavallaro families to keep you up to date. You will receive an email from me each Monday with important information.

IMPT>>>You must have a current email address, phone number and home address listed in your child's NYCSA account to be linked to my Parent distribution list.

Update or register following this link: https://www.schoolsaccount.nyc/

There will be much more information to follow. The important thing is that your child arrives to school and returns home safely. Please remember that unless your child is a door-to-door bus student or yellow bus student, they will be exiting the building on their own at dismissal. Please have a dismissal plan in place and discuss this with your child so they either meet you outside of school or return home on their own safely.

If your child takes the school bus, their bus route and information is posted on your Parent NYC Schools Account. Please do not confuse this with the MySchools Account, as that account was strictly for school enrollment and placement.

We look forward to seeing you on Thursday to begin a new school year together!

Sincerely,
Ms. Bender
