New York City Public Schools will be OPEN for in-person instruction on Tuesday, February 24, 2026.

Given the severity of the storm forecast, and the state of emergency issued by the Governor, all NYC Public Schools will BE CLOSED on Monday, February 23, 2026.

I am excited to share the attached letter with you, detailing that the New York State Education Department (NYSED) has designated IS 281 JOSEPH B CAVALLARO for the Local Support and Improvement (LSI) support model for the 2025-26 school year, based on 2024-25 data.
