Here is the news for the week:
-
Attached you will find the permission slip for our Annual Cavallaro Family Holiday Festival, taking place next week on Wednesday, December 10th, from 5:30 - 8:30. Families, students and staff will be able to enjoy food, music, raffles and fun to welcome the holidays together. All of our students will be bringing home a copy of the letter tomorrow as well. Please send it back as soon as possible, as a head count is necessary to ensure we have enough food to serve everyone.
-
December 1st to December 22nd we will hold our Annual Toy Drive. We collect toys for the children of our active military service members. Many of these kids will not have their loved ones with them during the holidays, as they may be serving overseas. I thank you ahead of time, as your generosity to this cause always warms my heart and brings an extra bit of happiness to our military children.

Marking Period 2 began today, and report cards will be distributed on December 23rd. This is a very content-heavy Marking Period, and extremely important for students to stay on pace with their classwork, homework and assessments. Once we finish MP2, we move into test prep. Please ensure that your child takes advantage of our after-school tutoring programs, or our at home live tutoring program through our partnership with PRACTICE. Tutoring is available Monday thru Friday, 4:00-8:00 PM, through our On-Demand Virtual Support (ODVS) program. Please note...sessions can only be scheduled on the same day of the request.Booking a session is simple; click on this video link to see how to sign up.
