Family Newsletter - 6-22-26

As we come to the last week in June, this will be my final family newsletter for the 2025-2026 school year. I just want to say how thankful I am to have such wonderful parents and family members to partner with, who entrust the educational integrity of their children to our care.

I am the proudest Principal in the city, as the students of Cavallaro are shining stars in my opinion. The confidence they have shown this year, both academically and socially, in taking part in activities that expand their middle school experiences beyond the walls of our school, is truly a testament to their individual growth and development. I am tremendously proud of them.

That being said, here is the news for the week:
  • Get ready to celebrate the end of the school year with a full week of fun and creative dress-up days! Here is what’s happening each day:
  • Monday the 22nd (Celebrate Summer): Kick off the week in your favorite beachwear, from sun hats to sunglasses.
  • Tuesday the 23rd (Dress Like a Teacher): It’s a total flip-flop day! Students dress up as teachers, and teachers dress up as students.
  • Wednesday the 24th (Cosplay Character Day): Show off your fandom by dressing up as your absolute favorite character.
  • Thursday the 25th (Anything But a Backpack): Ditch the traditional backpack and bring your school supplies in something creative, like a laundry hamper, a baking dish, or a toy cart.
  • Friday the 26th (LGBTQIA+ Pride Day): Close out the year by wearing your most colorful rainbow attire to celebrate Pride.
  •
