The New York State Grades 3-8 English Language Arts (ELA) examination period is April 19- April 29, 2021.

The NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) and the NYC Test + Trace Corps (T2) have determined that a member of our school community has tested positive for COVID-19, and may have exposed others while at school.

This year, many of our students are learning remotely, but the New York State Education Department (NYSED) has required that exams must still take place in-person in the school building. It will not be possible to administer state exams remotely.

Dear Families,

This year, the New York State Education Department (NYSED) has determined that assessments will be school-based and in-person. It will not be possible to administer any of the NYS exams remotely.

New York City is committed to making free meals available daily for all New Yorkers. Students and families can go to nearby school buildings for takeout meals.
